Gin Chin's Mobile Bar at Crawley Point-to-Point

Last weekend, we took the Gin Chin mobile bar on the road to the Crawley & Horsham Point-to-Point at Parham, West Sussex.

If you’ve never been, a Point-to-Point is a perfect countryside day out – horses thundering across the course, spectators with picnic blankets, and an atmosphere that’s relaxed yet buzzing. It’s the ideal setting for an artisan gin, and we were delighted to share ours!

From the moment the gates opened, visitors stopped by our trailer to enjoy a Classic Dry Gin & Tonic or sample our Rhubarb & Raspberry Gin. It was fantastic to chat about craft gin, our small-batch process, and what makes each bottle of Gin Chin special – as well as hearing a few questionable betting strategies along the way!

A Country Day Out with Craft Gin

One of the best things about Point-to-Point racing is the sense of tradition. There are no corporate sponsors, just local owners, jockeys, and trainers coming together for grassroots racing. Visitors can enjoy the day at their own pace, and having an artisan gin in hand makes it all the more memorable.

For us, it was a great opportunity to showcase our hand-crafted, small-batch gin. The Classic Dry Gin proved a firm favourite – crisp, smooth, and perfect for sipping by the rails. The Rhubarb & Raspberry Gin added a fruity twist, ideal for those who prefer a lighter, slightly sweeter serve.
