We took the Gin Chin's mobile bar up the road to Odiham, our local village to meet the residence.

Gin Chin at the Odiham Food Festival 🍸☀️

You can’t call yourself a local gin brand in Odiham without being part of the Odiham Food Festival—so that’s exactly what we did last weekend!

We set up at the top of the High Street, proudly representing Gin Chin alongside a few other fantastic local drink brands. For our first-ever appearance at the festival, we couldn’t have asked for a better day: the sun was shining, the street was buzzing, and the energy was electric from start to finish.

And let’s be honest—our free gin samples may have played a small part in keeping spirits high!

The Odiham Food Fayre is a beloved annual event that transforms our historic village into a pedestrian-friendly haven of food and drink. Held every August Bank Holiday Monday, it features over 50 artisan stalls, showcasing everything from street food and sweet treats to local crafts and, of course, amazing drinks like ours.

How important is it

The Odiham Food Festival is more than just another date in the diary for us at Gin Chin—it's a real milestone in our journey as a local brand. While Odiham is where we’re based, the festival gives us something even more valuable: the chance to connect with our own community, face to face.

There’s something incredibly special about being able to tell local people, “Hey, you can find us just down the road!” Whether it’s enjoying a Gin Chin G&T at The Mill House in Hook, or savouring a serve at the Shoulder of Mutton on Hazeley Heath, the festival lets us show people exactly where they can try our gin for themselves.

But it’s not just about raising awareness with the community—it’s also a fantastic opportunity to connect with the local hospitality scene. Having the chance to speak directly with village pub owners and bar managers, letting them try our gin firsthand, and hearing their feedback in real-time is invaluable. It helps us grow, improve, and strengthen our presence right here in the place we call home.

For a brand rooted in community, craftsmanship, and character, there’s no better platform than the Odiham Food Festival. We’re proud to be part of it—and even prouder to be a part of this village.
