The electrics
So how do we turn a horse box into a space that has working power for fridges, lights, outlets and also a hook up point for plug into the mains when we are at events?
First of all we had to measure the amount of cable we needed to reach around the trailer which came to about 50 metres, which allowed us to run a fall ring Circuit on the back wall which consisted of four double plug sockets. And then on the other wall of the trailer we did a normal Lighting circuit which had two out door lights running off one switch and for the over head LED lights, running a separate cable into the other switch then into garage consumer unit which allows us to safely turn on each circuit in the trailer and run circuits individually depending on the set up we are using that day.
As for supplying power we have fitted a caravan hook up outlet which means we can run off the mains or by use of generator.
